2015年4月17日，我国北方全面陷入浮尘造成的PM10污染，南方臭氧污染略有减弱。东北、西北、华北、华中、华东都遭受不同程度的沙尘和浮尘影响，影响前锋覆盖湖北和江苏。四川盆地PM2.5和臭氧交替污染加重，两个城市出现臭氧中度污染。除两广污染形势改善外，贵州、福建、江西、浙江以及江苏继续发生臭氧污染。湖南PM2.5污染仍然继续。新疆阿克苏连续第八天PM2.5重度污染。MODIS卫星图片上，华东地区灰霾明显（1：30PM），东北再度出现生物质燃烧火点和大规模烟羽（10:30AM)。
